COVID-19 Update

7/29/20

Dear Residents and Families:

We wanted to provide you an update since our last communication on July 21, as we stated in our previous communication, we had taken the proactive step to test all of our residents. To date, out of almost 150 residents, we now have only eleven individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 with still only two of those that need care outside of our community. We still have nine pending tests.

We have spoken with all the families that had a resident that tested positive to provide them an update on the resident’s condition and the care plan going forward. All residents who have tested positive remain in isolation until, following guidance from the local health department and CDC, they are deemed to no longer be an infection risk to others.

We thank you in assisting us in encouraging assisted living residents to stay in the community and when outside of their rooms, to wear masks, practice good social distancing and frequently wash/sanitize their hands.
We continue to monitor our staff and residents for any change in their health condition. As always, we will contact families if there is any change in the health condition of their loved one, whether COVID related or not.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we face this challenge in our state and country as a whole. As always, please reach out with questions, concerns, or requests for assistance.

Sincerely,

Russell Sylvester
Executive Director
