Dear Residents and Families:
With our most recent round of testing yesterday, we currently have 3 positive staff members and 19 positive residents.
As in the past, all staff quarantine from home and return-to-work dates will be determined following local health department and CDC guidance.
All of the new positive residents remain in the Community in isolation and receiving cares with heightened infection control procedures.
Given the current amount of positive cases, we are again restricting visitation with the exception of compassionate/end-of-life visits and visits by essential healthcare providers.
We continue to encourage residents (and urge families to encourage residents) to take all precautions to prevent or mitigate the spread of the virus by:
- Wearing masks when outside of their apartments;
- Engaging in good hand hygiene; and
- Practicing social distancing when outside of their apartments.
We will continue our mass testing and general updates on our mass testing on a periodic basis. As always, we will immediately notify residents, residents’ primary care providers and responsible parties/family about the results and to discuss next steps. We also continue to monitor residents for any change in condition.
As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns.
